Dr. Betsy Corrin will discuss how to help our children cope with stress and anxiety. She will present techniques that parents can teach their children to help them manage their stress more effectively and decrease their worry and anxiety. She will also discuss ways of responding to our stressed/ anxious child and ways to model effective coping. Helping Our Stressed and Anxious Kids: Slow Down (to Go Faster) Parents will learn about: • The “Speed Trap” of busy lives • How to slow down (to go faster) • Providing empathy while setting limits • Setting realistic expectations • How to address worries and fears • When to seek additional help and support Please see the attached flyer for more information.
