Uniform Information

Girls:

       Plaid jumper - Kindergarten through Grade Four

    Plaid skirt - Fifth through Grade Eight

       White Blouse with Peter-Pan collar for grades K-4

       White Blouse with button-down Oxford collar for grade 5-8

       Red clip-on ties for all grades

       Navy blue V-Neck pullover sweater with SVDP logo for all grades

       Solid all white socks (crew.)

       Optional: White tights

       Any T-shirt or turtleneck, (worn under blouse), must be all white

       Colored t-shirts or t-shirts with logos are not to be worn under white blouses

       Sweaters must fit in the shoulder and sleeve length.  Cuffs should not extend beyond the         middle of the back of the hand.

 

Boys:

     Grey cotton twill pants for all grades    

       Grades K, 1, 2 – stretchy belt

      Grades 3 – 8 - A black belt

      White broadcloth shirt for all grades

       Navy blue V-Neck pullover sweater with SVDP logo for all grades

       Navy blue clip-on tie for all grades    

       Solid all white crew socks

Boys and girls will wear low cut solid white canvas or leather tie-type shoes. (Such as Converse, Norsport Carriers, Keds, Reebok, Vans, Sperry and K-Swiss).

The school administration reserves to itself the final judgment in all matters concerning student grooming and dress.

Eighth Grade Sweatshirts:

Students in eighth grade have the opportunity to purchase sweatshirts that have the names of their classmates printed inside the numeral of the year of their graduation.  The sweatshirts for this year will read “Graduating Class of “ 2010.”  These sweatshirts are optional and are purchased through the school during the month of September.  These sweatshirts may be worn at recess, lunch, before and after school.  Students must have their school sweater on underneath the sweatshirt or they will be considered out of uniform. Students may not wear these sweatshirts in lieu of their sweater.  Sweatshirts may not be worn during class time.
