2/2: IMPORTANT: Due to the fact that our Coloma trip is in less than 2 weeks, we will be wrapping up most of our subject units next week. I have sent home the Weekly Schedule today with the class so that they can begin to budget their time accordingly. Thank you.

COLOMA INFORMATION MEETING!!!

We will be having an informational meeting about our trip to the Coloma Outdoor Discovery School on Tuesday, January 17th at 5:00 in the 4^th grade classroom. Both parents and students are welcome to attend to learn more about our trip. Though it is not a mandatory meeting, I strongly urge at least one adult family member to come. We will be watching a DVD about CODS and I will answer any questions you may have then about the trip.

I look forward to seeing you on the 17th!

12/9: Dear Parents: If you had not already signed the progress online, please do so. You must sign on with YOUR login name, not your child's, or else the "sign" button will not be available. I CANNOT UPDATE ANY GRADES UNTIL I GET ALL PARENTS TO SIGN ONLINE. (If you have already signed on or have sent me an email saying that you have checked, please try to sign it. It will help to learn how to do it for next quarter.) Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

12/1: Dear Students and Parents: I just found out that my email has not been working correctly for the past 3 days. If you have sent me an email, chances are I have received it but have not been able to retrieve it. We are working on getting the problem fixed and I will to get back to you as soon as I can. If you have anything very time sensitive that I need to know, please leave me a voicemail at 346-5505 ext. 17. Thank you!

Attention 4th Grade Moms: There has only been ONE questionnaire returned from moms for our trip to Coloma in February. If interested, please email me immediately and I will send a questionnaire home for you to fill out. Thank you!

10/28: November Saint report assigned today. Written report due Monday, November 28th.

10/18: Parents and Students: Please remember to check our new online grade book at www.schoolspeak.com for missing assignments, etc. I will no longer be sending home "Missing Assignment" sheets at the end of each week as reminders. Remember: a "0" means the assignment is missing but a "blank" means that the assignments was excused. Thank you.

10/3: October book report assigned today! I will no longer be handing out hard copies. Please look under Classroom News/Book Reports and print out the requirements. DUE: Friday, October 28th OR Monday, October 31st.

9/21: Important reminder: Due to the fact that we have IOWA tests this week, I gave no big subject tests. Because of this, there will be many tests next week. Please make sure you budget your time so that you will be prepared for each test as it comes. I will send home the Weekly Schedule for next week on Friday. Thank you.

9/8: 4th grade: You will find the Treasure Hunt game link we played in class today under "my Links" and the Latitude, Longitude song under "My Resources".

Parents: I have attached the Textbook CD permission form under "Important Information" in case you are interested.

8/24: A few important reminders:

School begins Wednesday, August 24th from 8:10-9:10.
Thursday, August 25th is a 12:30 dismissal day and Friday, August 26th is a FULL DAY.
Beginning on Thursday, please send ONE small, healthy snack (packed separately from lunch)
For Thursday, please try to bring:
- pen and/or pencil
- markers and/or crayons
- scissors and glue
- silent reading book
Summer packets will be collected on MONDAY, AUGUST 29th
