My qualifications as an experienced credentialed teacher and educational therapist provide quality services to students in pre-school through eighth grade. I can provide individual or group multi-sensory instruction. This approach builds phonological awareness as well as phonics, decoding/reading skills, reading comprehension, andwriting skills that will form a strong learning base for students with varying strengths and weaknesses and diverse learning styles.
In accordance with The National Reading Panel, Mary Morelli provides instruction that is direct and explicit, simultaneous and multi-sensory, structured and systematic that is appropriately paced, repetitive and checks for understanding to insure building a strong base across all the language areas. She develops thinking skills, self-confidence & self-esteem, and self-advocacy in the student.
